An underlayment, as part of the flooring system, is responsible for the connection between the subfloor and the flooring. As an invisible helper, it guarantees the durability and comfort of the floor. Since every floor covering has its own unique character – in terms of material composition, flexibility, or type of installation – and must therefore meet a wide variety of requirements, we work with you to develop an individual solution tailored to your floor in order to achieve an ideally functioning floor system.

Underlayment solutions for LVT, WPC, SPC and RCBs for pad-attached flooring
Together with our flooring industry customers, we develop high-quality foams such as closed cell extruded polyolefin foam, polyester foam, and polystyrene foam for direct lamination for laminate flooring, hardwood flooring, LVT, WPC, SPC and RCB. Our close collaboration with our customers is underlined by numerous technology partnerships with leading machine suppliers of laminating equipment and adhesive application systems.

For custom-made solutions, we work with our converting partner facility Pak-Lite, Inc. (PLI). PLI is one of the leading manufacturers of custom foam products in North America. PLI undertakes the final production and distribution of our custom underlayment products.
